Owner of Schola
I’ve had a passion for cooking for as long as I can remember.
After a career in sales, I shifted to the hospitality industry by working as the Sales and Private Event Manager at Corks. Following that, I attended the International Culinary Center (formerly known as the French Culinary Institute) in New York City. As part of my ICC training, I spent six months in Italy–first at the ALMA la Scuola Internazionale di Cucina Italiana in Parma and then cooking in the Hotel Villa Igiea in Sicily.
After earning my degree from ICC, I worked as the Executive Chef at the Admiral Fell Inn, where I created inventive menus and catered everything from weddings to corporate retreats, and worked at Henderson Wharf and catered to a variety of clients in New York City and Baltimore. Schola is the realization of a long-held dream of mine: to create a place where people can learn different cooking techniques in a fun and casual environment.
I co-founded Schola with Chef Jerry Pellegrino in 2015 and greatly enjoy cooking and eating with the wonderful variety of people who join us in Schola’s kitchen!
