Interactive, hands-on, fun cooking classes & private events…

We started Schola as a place where people could come together, put on an apron and learn about where food comes from and how to cook it. All of our classes are designed to intrigue the beginner as well as the seasoned veteran in the kitchen. The classes are a hands-on experience and usually last between two and three hours.

Schola is BYOB and we encourage our students to bring a bottle of something to enjoy while they cook and eat together. We’ll always have plenty of stemware on hand!

  • The knife is, without a doubt, the chef's most important tool. Join us to learn about different types of knives, how they're made, and how to sharpen them. Then hone your knife skills as we guide you  through the basic cuts, large and small dice, batonettes, peeling with a paring knife, and mincing. Next, you'll learn how to debone your own chicken. 

Everything we cut up will become dinner! Please feel free to bring your own knives and we'll help you sharpen them on our sharpening stones.

Just four spots remain–join us!
